Program for College Students in English Education
January 9 - February 4, 2017

The CAPE Program for College Students in English Education is designed to give those majoring in the education field the opportunity to take workshop classes related to Teaching English as a Foreign Language, while improving their own English skills. Students will also participate in hands-on experience through classroom observations at local Hawaii schools and micro-teaching demonstrations.

By experiencing cross-cultural living and participating in intercultural activities, participants have the opportunity to develop international friendships. Field trips to places of historical, cultural and educational interest enhance the students' learning and understanding of Hawai`i and the U.S.

The 2017 PROGRAM FOR COLLEGE STUDENTS IN ENGLISH EDUCATION will be held as stated below. Most program activities will take place on the campus of the University of Hawai`i at Manoa.

Housing accommodations will be provided at East-West Center Dormitory for program participants at a special rate. CAPE makes every effort to keep housing costs to a minumum for participants.
